\v 1 From the Zaken\f + \fr 1:1 \fr*\ft \+xt Ex 3:16\+xt*\ft*\f* \add (Elder)\add*. To the Gevirah HaBechirah \add (the Chosen Lady)\add* and her Banim \add (Sons, Children)\add*, for whom I have ahavah \add (agape)\add* b'Emes, and not only I but also all those who have Da'as HaEmes \add (Knowledge of the Truth)\add*, 
\v 2 Because of HaEmes that dwells inside us, and will be immanu \add (with us)\add* for Yamim HaOlam.

\v 3 Chen v'Chesed \nd Hashem\nd* \add (unmerited Favor and Kindness)\add*, Rachamim \nd Hashem\nd* \add (Mercy)\add*, and Shalom \nd Hashem\nd* \add (Peace)\add* will be immanu \add (with us)\add* from Elohim HaAv and from Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua, HaBen of HaAv, in Emes and Ahavah \add (agape)\add*.

\v 4 I had simcha gedola \add (much joy)\add* that I have found some of your Banim with a walk which is Halakhah b'Derech Emes \add (Conduct in the Way of Truth)\add*, just as we received a mitzvah \add (commandment)\add* to do so from HaAv.\f + \fr 1:4 \fr*\ft \+xt 1:3\+xt*\ft*\f* 
\v 5 And now I beseech you, Gevirah,\f + \fr 1:5 \fr*\ft \+xt 1:1\+xt*\ft*\f* not as a mitzvah chadasha \add (new commandment)\add* I am writing you, but that which we had meyReshit \add (from the Beginning)\add*: that we should have ahavah \add (agape)\add* one for the other,\f + \fr 1:5 \fr*\ft \+xt Yn 13:34\+xt*\ft*\f* 
\v 6 And this is ahavah, that we should walk with a halichah according to the Mitzvot of Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach; this is the mitzvah just as you have heard it meyReshit. You must walk in it.\f + \fr 1:6 \fr*\ft \+xt 1:5\+xt*\ft*\f* 
\v 7 Because mat'im rabbim \add (many misleaders, deceivers)\add* have gone out into the world, the ones not making the Ani Ma'amin hoda'ah \add (confession)\add* that Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach Yehoshua habah b'basar \add (has come in bodily flesh)\add*; this one is HaMat'eh \add (the Deceiving One)\add* and the Anti-Moshiach. 
\v 8 Watch out for yourselves, lest you lose what we worked for, but may receive a sachar maleh \add (full reward)\add*. 
\v 9 Everyone who runs ahead and does not remain in the torah of Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach does not have \nd Hashem\nd*; the one remaining in the torah [of Moshiach], this one has both HaAv and HaBen. 
\v 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this torah, do not receive him into your house,\f + \fr 1:10 \fr*\ft kehillah, shtiebel\ft*\f* and do not give him Drishat Shalom. 
\v 11 For the one giving Drishat Shalom to him has shuttafut \add (partnership)\add* with his ma'asim hara'im \add (evil deeds)\add*.

\v 12 I have many things to write to you; I wanted not to do so with parchment and ink, but I have the tikvah \add (hope)\add* to be with you and to speak panim el panim \add (directly, in person)\add*,\f + \fr 1:12 \fr*\xt Dt 34:10\xt*\f* that our simcha \add (joy)\add* may be shleimah \add (complete)\add*.
